Report: Novak: Minsk to redirect 4–6 tns of oil products to Russia
MOSCOW, Sep 28 (PRIME) -- Russia hopes to agree with Belarus on redirection of four to six tonnes of the state’s oil product exports from ports of Lithuania to Russian ports soon, Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Monday in an interview broadcast by Rossiya 24 television channel.
“The work is underway. It is known that we have free capacities in our Northwestern cluster, including the ports of Primorsk, St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga, and… commercial agreements on redirection of the flows could be mutually beneficial for both our partners and our economic operators. The economic conditions are being discussed now,” he said.
“We hope that the issue will be agreed soon,” he added.
Novak also said that the relations between Russia and Belarus are developing in a constructive way, and the states are currently in talks on energy supplies in 2021 and in the mid-term outlook.
